Melissa Brownback
MA, LPCC (CA), LCPC (IL)
Melissa believes that every person has a story and every story matters. Melissa is deeply committed to providing a safe, warm, and collaborative space for each of her clients that is individually tailored to each person’s unique pace, needs, and goals.
Melissa has almost 15 years of experience walking alongside individuals, couples, and families in their journeys of healing and growth. She is passionate about helping each of her clients uncover how their unique stories can lead to healing, redemption, and hope. Melissa specializes in working with developmental and religious trauma, attachment, and faith de/reconstruction. She also really enjoys providing therapy for fellow therapists who are in need of a space to engage in their own healing as they provide support for others. Melissa has received training in EMDR therapy, which she incorporates into her work with trauma survivors.
Melissa received her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity International University, and practiced therapy in the Chicago suburbs for several years before relocating to California with her family. She is licensed in both California and Illinois.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys long-distance running, reading, traveling, and hiking with her husband and two young boys.

Gabby DeLuca
Gabby’s hope for clients is that they leave therapy feeling known and empowered. Gabby holds the believes that therapy is a space for relational and individual healing and she is committed to creating a space that is safe, realistic, and hope-filled. Gabby understands that going to therapy takes courage and believes it is an honor to hold therapeutic space with each of her clients.
Gabby has experience working with individuals from age 5 to age 75. She is also experienced working with families and couples. Gabby’s work with individuals and families in the foster care system has provided her with experience working from a trauma-informed and attachment-based approach in therapy.
Her work in numerous church settings and love for church communities has given her a heart for working with people who have experienced spiritual or church hurt and are processing their faith. Gabby is also certified in Restoration Therapy and received this certification while working with couples.
Gabby received her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Before graduate school, Gabby worked in several bachelor-level social service roles that serve foster children and families in the Orange County area.
In her free time, Gabby loves connecting with her community, being outdoors, hiking, skiing, camping with her husband and dog, or cozying up with a good book.

MS, AMFT
Michelle Dogterom
Michelle strives to create a safe and empathic space where her clients’ stories can be witnessed and held. She believes everyone has their own unique strengths and encourages her clients to build off of those strengths to progress toward their goals.
Michelle received her MA in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and has 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in school-based and private practice settings.
Michelle enjoys working with adults seeking support with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. She received intensive training in Exposure Response Prevention therapy (ERP), an evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety. She also enjoys working with adults wanting to create a healthier relationship with their emotions by building emotional awareness and emotional regulation skills.
When Michelle is not in session, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, being in nature, walking, and listening to music.
